In the example of HOTMAN^® BAS System Trending Screen, you can see the hemodynamic state (SI = green trace, and MAP= red trace) and the chronotropic compensation by the HR (purple trace) during a night (note the time scale at the bottom of the screen). The patient's blood pressure was measured every 30 minutes. Note a continuous and dynamic change of all parameters during sleep: The rapid change of HR and SI while falling asleep, the effects of dreams (the first REM period between 23:00 and 24:00), waking-up at 00:00, immediately falling asleep again and the second REM period between 00:00 and 01:00).
